Clark's Horse Review February 18, 1896

Published in the late 1800s and early 1900s, its weekly issues are one of the richest storehouses of information on harness racing during that time. This is Issue 7 of Volume 13, pp 161-186 (pp 187-188 missing).

Some of the Contents:

= Origin and Breeding of Gipsey Queen
= Death of Fidol
= notes from the National Trotting Congress
= The Belmont Family

On the Cover: Gipsey Queen, dam of Thomas Jefferson Artwork by Robert L Dickey.

This periodical shows light wear and mild toning at the edges. The cover is partially separated at the staple-fold and has been reinforced with two short strips of cello tape. The front cover has two tears -- 5-inch and 6-inch -- from the staple-fold. The front cover also has an approx 3-inch patch of paper adhered at the center of the top edge. All pages are otherwise intact and completely legible.

(NOTE: The horizontal line at the center of the image on this listing is the result of combining two smaller images. The periodical doesn't have a crease at the center.)
