ON TO A NEW RECORD Near the completion of her record run -- the Bay Mare, "Ima McGregor", owned by J.D. Callery, Pittsburgh, Pa., who set a new world's record for harness horses in the mile event during the first annual mid-south class of the Pinehurst (N.C.) Matinee Club. Her time was 2 minutes, 12 seconds for the first heat, and two minutes, ten and a quarter seconds for the second. 116R1718
