Detailed Description

Antique sterling silver spoon featuring a handle with relief design and an engraved bowl.

The handle shows the name "KENTUCKY", a barrel, a horse, and the Kentucky state motto "United We Stand, Divided We Fall". The bowl has an engraved image of the blind harness racing champion trotter, "RHYTHMIC 2.09 3/4". The back of the handle is marked "STERLING" along with an 'S' in a circle (Shepard Mfg).

The spoon is approximately 5-5/8 inches long. It is in very good to excellent condition. It shows only slight wear and has a very soft patina.
