Fabric is applied to a heavily embossed applique that is attached to the card front. A fur-like fabric is attached to the card and surrounds the applique. All this is applied to an off-white layer of fabric. The applique has gilt accent. A metal greeting is attached at the lower right. The decorative top layer of this card is attached to a standard Litho postcard back. Marking on the postcard back is, "Printed in Germany". This postcard is not postally used. A handwritten note on back suggests that it was from Parsons, Kansas. The card has bumped corner tips and edge wear. There are two holes at the top edge, perhaps for a ribbon. The metal greeting is attached so that it extends off-edge; it appears to be the intended position of the attachment as there are no other holes or punctures. A few small areas of the embossed applique are slightly scuffed or soiled. The fabric background has some edge fraying.
