Chapel of Henry VII, Westminster Abbey -- This Chapel was erected in 1502-1520, on the site of an old Chapel to the Virgin, and in its Nave, and aisles, and five small Chapels most of the Kings and Queens of England sleep their last sleep. It contains about 100 statues, and its carvings of wall and ceiling are wonderful. The style is florid Perpendicular. The carved Stalls and Banners shown are those of the Knights of the Bath. Mary Queen of Scots lies here.
