The Choir, Westminster Abbey -- This Choir is beautiful and extensive; before its altar is a curious old Mosaic pavement, brought from Rome in 1268, and its elaborate Reredos (erected in 1867) is of red and white alabaster. The Choir has three Chapels, and it extends beyond the Transept into the Nave, from which it is separated by an iron screen.
